Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called tapping, is a method that helps people release emotional stress and negative feelings. It combines light tapping on specific points on the body (similar to acupressure) with focused attention on thoughts, emotions, or physical discomfort. The goal is to calm the nervous system and restore emotional balance.
How EFT Helps
EFT helps people by reducing emotional overwhelm and creating a sense of relief and clarity. When we experience stress, fear, anxiety, or past emotional pain, the body often stays in a “fight or flight” mode. Tapping sends a calming signal to the brain, helping the body relax and feel safe again.
